Wire-Wound Bars

The Filter Store Plus has a full line of Wire-Wound Coating Bars. From Standard Lab Bars to Production Coating Bars, in 3/16" to 1" core diameter.

Wire Wound Coating Bars were originally known as "Mayer Rods", and that term is still used today. They are also known as "Metering Bars", "Wet Film Applicator Bars", and "Smoothing Bars". The terms "Bar" or "Rod" may be used in all cases.

All machines using any of the bars described, as a major method of coating are called "Rod Coaters".
